  Disappointed! The trip was billed as including Chateau St. Michelle which is now closed . We saw the grounds and the parking lot from the bus. Not that impressed looks... read more like some neglect due to the business going under. I notice it is now off on the web site but it was specified when we booked the trip. Went to 2 boutique wine tasting rooms but we barely had enough time to enjoy them. The wine was great and service excellent. The chocolate factory was fun and made for an interesting stop. The falls were scenic.
The trip could’ve improved by adding another hour at the wine tasting rooms. We didn’t have enough time to eat and we could have squeezed in another tasting.

  Our first trip to Mt Ranier and it was beautiful. We were picked up at our hotel on time by Cory and he was an excellent guide for the day.... read more It started out very rainy but then became just overcast. He had interesting commentary along the ride to the national park, with a good stop to buy lunch (as the lodge might not have much selection). Once we arrived at the national park, we had several stops at lovely waterfalls and other sites. The sun broke out when we got to Paradise! The mountain was out in all her glory. We had plenty of time at each stop and time for hike at Paradise if desired.
Overall great trip and enjoyed having Cory as our driver/guide.

The place he took us had great sandwiches at a great price. Once we got to the park, Lucas seemed to know every great spot as he showed us amazing view after amazing view. We did a few short hikes and stopped multiple times for bathroom breaks. The park is AMAZING and Lucas knows it very well. He had great stories to tell, also. Highly recommend!

  Our host/driver is John/Joe. He was awesome. He went above and beyond. He connected with his passengers. A few happenings that I thought we would not make... read more it at Leavenworth.
While we were at Safeway in Monroe for restroom break, he informed us about the avalanche and made a re-route to I-90.
Next, a few miles of driving, we heard the chain just snapped. He and his mates tried to fix the broken chain but to no avail. Some passengers were transferred in different bus. My group stayed in the bus because we were 11 people.
A few calls were made, while trying to fix the chain. An hour later, he successfully fixed the chain.
We arrived at Leavenworth at past 3 pm. He informed us we could stay until 7:30 PM.
I'm grateful we really made it to Leavenworth because it wasn't just a birthday celebration to begin with, but it was a first to my 2 sisters, who came all the way from Philippines and Australia, to see Leavenworth and top it all, the SNOW. This was also the first time I celebrated my birthday with them, after living apart for so many years.
Joe's driving was just enough for me. He wasn't fast nor slow. He made us feel safe with his driving.
Aside from driving, he lent us 3 pairs of spikes because he learned that it was slippery.
My group enjoyed the trip and the atmosphere in Leavenworth.
The trip after what happened made it all worth it.
I would not hesitate to book another in Customized Tours, with Joe as our host/driver.

But the true highlights were the various incredible hikes he guided us on, especially on the snow covered hike along Mt. Reiner itself.
