Das Festival findet jedes Jahr am zweiten vollen Wochenende im Juli statt und wird jedes Jahr von über 10.000 Menschen besucht. Man kann es sich als eine Art „schottischen Zirkus mit drei Manegen“ vorstellen, mit einem breiten Angebot an Aktivitäten für alle Altersgruppen.
